What's interesting here is all the genre splitting: noir mystery, cozy mystery, paranormal mystery (what I now dabble in), and so on. Something for everyone. So wonderful.

I didn’t realize how the murder mystery genre could diverge like this. Of course, Murder, She Wrote and CSI inhabit far different spaces in film, so duh! Anyway, I enjoyed this post and learned about cozies!! Oh, PS. I listened to CLINT on tape, another great Burke work. Definitely NOT cozy!! ❤️

I haven't read "Clete" yet, it's on my TBR (so high, so big, so huge ... need more time!!!!!). Talking about Burke, have you read "Tin Roof Blowdown"? It's his Katrina book and incredibly strong, my #1. I also learned about cozies thanks to Nancy, I seldom mosey that way ...
