I so agree with this: Like a good exercise regimen, writing benefits from variety. It's why I've published books in almost a dozen different genres and one year published a mystery (St. Martin's), a co-authored book about shame (Doubleday), and an essay collection (Faber).
I'm finding it fun to write in a non-fictional voice as well. Congratulations on a year of posting!
