I was inspired by this article to look at some of my books and see what kind of title I would give to the chapters. I couldn't come up with anything worthwhile, so I think I'll just continue to go with numbers. Chapter titles seem a bit grand for noir.

Never read Dumas for some reason, I think I've just always assumed that anyone writing before the 20th century would entirely go over my head despite numerous instances to the contrary - or maybe because we're so inundated by new stuff, it's hard to go back to the old (kinda like Substack posts - how many new subscribers actually go back and reader your earlier stuff?) ANYWAY! You've got me curious now, Martine, and perhaps I shall start with the 3 mouseketeers...! :)

I have gotten into the habit of titling chapters (entries) in my Freelan Journals series but only for myself. The titles will be removed before publishing. I'm dealing with 2.89 million words so far, so I need some way to track how things are progressing. I think Little Women also titles the chapters.
