I began writing what was intended to be a romance novel. It turned into something much more. And as I neared the end, I got ideas for a sequel ... and then another ... and another ... and a whole world was spawned with the core characters and a host of peripheral characters. It's now a whole series and the word count is well over 2.8 million. Good to keep the creative juices flowing.

Whoa. Set up. Character revealed. Final tension. My spine crawled! Great work, Martine!
Thanks for your recognition of Robbie Robertson who passed away recently.
BTW - I bought 4 copies of your book through Amazon!
Wow, thank you, Sylvia. It looks like bookshops can get it to, through their distributor, via Ingram, I believe.
I'll admit you made me think about that. ;)
As you know, I love short stories. And I loved this piece. It's even given me a few ideas of where I can go. Thanks, Martine!
Thanks for reading, Ben.
I don't often think of reading short stories, Martine. Now, I might. ;)
I’d say your posts are close to short stories :) you’re halfway there writing some!
