I began writing what was intended to be a romance novel. It turned into something much more. And as I neared the end, I got ideas for a sequel ... and then another ... and another ... and a whole world was spawned with the core characters and a host of peripheral characters. It's now a whole series and the word count is well over 2.8 million. Good to keep the creative juices flowing.
